Muriel “Lealy” Russell

March 02, 1949 – April 18, 2024 (age 75)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Muriel Russell, of Doyleville, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on April 18 2024 at the age of 75 surrounded by loved ones.

Muriel was the daughter of the late Charles and Opal (Godin) Hickey of Doyleville.

She is survived by her siblings Effie, Vera, Beatrice, Joan (Ivan), Marilyn, Jeannie (Gabriel), Hilda (Randy), Brendon (Rhonda), Terry, and Claude. As well as many nieces and nephews. Though Muriel never had children, she always took her niece, Farrah, as her own.

Muriel was predeceased by her sister Connie, and brothers, Clary, Victor, Earl, Herman, and Percy.

A graveside funeral service will be held at the at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Nash Creek on Friday, June 21st, 2024 at 2PM for Family and Friends. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home in Black Point.
