Alfred LeBlond

(1924 - 2017)

Charlo – A sa demeure, est décédé paisiblement, le jeudi 31 aout 2017,  à l’âge de 93 ans, monsieur Alfred LeBlond, époux de madame Lucie (Thibodeau). 

Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses 8 enfants : Estelle (Jim) de Oshawa, Ontario; Daniel (Gisèle) de Charlo; Michel (Mona) de Rivière-Verte; Lise (Jean-Guy) de Balmoral; Diane (Jean-Ola) de Paquetville;  Pierre (Helen) de Seaside; Rachel (Denis) de Nouvelle, Québec; Ginette (Claude) de Tilley Road; 17 petits-enfants et 22 arrières petits-enfants ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis. 

Il était le dernier survivant d’une grande famille d’enfants de monsieur Jean-Baptiste LeBlond et madame Lydia Richard.

La famille recevra parents et amis à la Chapelle funéraire Savoie, 2 rue de l’Église, Eel River Crossing, le dimanche  3 septembre, de 14 h à 16 h et de 19 h  à 21 h. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-François-Xavier de Charlo, le lundi 4 septembre  à 11h. Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés au Salon funéraire MacMillan’s de Black Point.

Alfred LeBlond

(1924 - 2017)

Mr. Alfred LeBlond, husband of Lucie (née Thibodeau), passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 31st, 2017 at the age of 93. 

Along with his wife, he will be sadly missed by his eight children: Estelle (Jim) of Oshawa, Ontario, Daniel (Gisele) of Charlo, Michel (Mona) of Rivière-Verte, Lise (Jean-Guy) of Balmoral, Diane (Jean-Ola) of Paquetville, Pierre (Helen) of Seaside, Rachel (Denis) of Nouvelle, and Ginette (Claude) of Tilley Road; his 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, as well his his many nieces, nephews and friends. 

He was the last survivor of the many children of Mr. Jean-Baptiste LeBlond and Mrs. Lydia Richard. 

A visitation for Mr. Alfred LeBlond will be held at Savoie Parlor, located at 10 d’Église St., Eel River Crossing, on Sunday, September 3rd, from 2 till 4 PM and again in the evening from 7 till 9 pm.  Funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 4th at 11 AM in the Saint-Francois-Xavier Church, Charlo. 

Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
