Eva Chamberlain

Eva Chamberlain passed away at the Villa Renaissance Dalhousie on November 6th, 2019, at the age of 89. She passed peacefully with family surrounded by her side. 

She was the mother of Thérèsa McIntyre (Ralph), Alfreda Doyle (Paul), Pauline Mallaley (Wayde), Elise Doucet (Paul) and Denise Collin (Timmy). Born in Lorne, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late David Chamberlain and Blanche (Lapointe) Chamberlain. Her sisters are Deloris Godin (the late John) and Claudette Lavigne (Valmond); her brothers are Cecil Chamberlain (Adelia) and Albert Chamberlain (Beverly).

Eva was predeceased by her sisters Ernestine Carrier and Lorina Chamberlain.

She had 11 grandchildren: Danny, Bradley, Tina, Thomas, Richard, Gary, Gail, Teala, Paula, Sabrina and Jeremy, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as uncles, aunts and multiple nieces and nephews. 

Eva volunteered for many years at the St. Maria Goretti Church in Lorne. She was a homecare worker for people from Lorne, Jacquet River and Belledune. 

The family would like to thank the staff from Villa Renaissance, who made her feel at home, plus us feel at home, and to Dr. MacMillan. 

Donations can be made to the St. Maria Goretti Church, Lorne, New Brunswick, in memory of our dear mother. 

There will be a funeral for Mrs. Chamberlain at the St. Maria Goretti Church on Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 at 2 PM, with visitations on November 11th from 2 until 4 in the afternoon, and again from 7 until 9 in the evening. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point.
