   John (Billy) Walker

 

   The death of John/Billy Walker of the Manoir Darlington and formerly of Jacquet River, husband of the late Esther (Carrier) Walker, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital Tuesday, May 07, 2019 at the age of 86. Born in Val D’Amour, he was the son of the late Clara Walker. 

 

   Billy is survived by his daughter Irene Godin (Glen) of Jacquet River; granddaughters Stephanie (Frederic) of Mirabel, QC, Marie Angele (Nicolas) of Deux Montagnes, QC; his two great-grand-sons Mackenzie and Noah as well as his sister-in-laws May Mallaley, Rose Godin and Nellie Carrier and brothers-in-law Valmond Carrier, Telesphore Carrier and Urbain /Pete Godin and many nieces and nephews.

 

 

   His funeral will be held at St. Maria Goretti Church Lorne, Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11 am with visitation at the Lorne Funeral Parlour Monday morning from 10 until 10:45. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.

 

 

   At this time the family would like to thank the ICU and Palliative Care Unit at the Campbellton Regional Hospital for their devotion and compassion. Also a sincere thank you to the owners and staff of the Manoir Darlington for the excellent care that was provided to my dad of who I was blessed to have such a  wonderful man as a father.
