Leonard Mallais

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leonard Mallais of Charlo announces his passing at Campbellton Regional Hospital on March 15, 2019 at the age of 66. He was born in Dalhousie.  He was the son of the late Emmard Mallais and Anna (Blaquiere) Mallais.

Leonard, known as Bebe, died peacefully with his wife Linda (Arseneault), his children, his grandson, his sister, and niece at his side. Along with his wife, he is survived by his four kids, Natacha (Dean) of Ontario, Kevin (Jessica) of Charlo, Annie of Dalhousie, and Liane (Jason) of Dundee; 11 grandchildren; Gabrielle, Anika, Shyanne, Brittany, Brandon, Marissa, Bryden, Kaylie, Weston, Ava, and Kael, including one great grandchild on her way.

Leonard loved music, family gatherings, gardening, and the outdoors, specifically the woods.  He always had a very tender heart to help everyone.  He enjoyed making everyone laugh, and regardless how many hours he had left, he still was making everyone laugh at the hospital.  

We will be having a celebration of life on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 4pm to 8 pm at the Golden Age Club in Charlo NB.  Honouring Leonard’s wish, he wants all of his family, friends and musician friends to come and have fun.  There will be a spaghetti supper at 5pm.  All are welcome.
