   It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Warren Barristo of Dalhousie at the age of 77. He passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. Warren was born on July 02, 1942 in River Charlo, NB., the son of the late Garnet and Henrietta (McGregor) Barristo.

   Warren was the beloved husband to his sweetheart of 52 years, Karen (Winchester) Barristo and loving father to their only child Treena (Mike) Killam of Salisbury and his cherished grandchildren Lauren and Zachary. He is also survived by his sister Gwen (Pat); brothers Roland (Anna Lee), Lloyd (Lynn), sister in law Jeannie as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Leonard, Jean, Linda, Ronnie and Wendall.

   A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Campbellton Regional Hospital for the exceptional care during his short time there. In Warren’s memory, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

   At the families request, there will be no visitation. His funeral service will be held at the St. John Bosco Church, Dalhousie on Friday, November 29, 2019 at11 am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home in Black Point.
