The death of Albert Chamberlain of Lorne who passed away with his wife, who he treasured and adored also with his family by his side, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 1, 2023 at the age of 78. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Eva Chamberlain, Ernestine Carrier (Knows as Tine) and Lorina Chamberlain.
He was employed by Mines Gaspe for 25 years until he returned to live in New Brunswick to be closer to his extended family.
He was highly respected by the men who worked for and with him, many of which remained long term friends. Albert was an avid fisherman for many years in both New Brunswick and Quebec, often sharing his bounty with others. He spent many hours teaching his children and grandchildren how to fish. His grandchildren and great grandchild were his pride and joy, he took great pleasure in learning about all of their shenanigans and treasured their photos and videos. He will be memorialized in the church that he built with friends and family in the community.
