Alexander Mallaley

The death of Alexander Mallaley formerly of Lorne, occurred at the Villa Renaissance, Dalhousie on March 11, 2025 at the age of 98. He was the son of Tom Mallaley and Clara (Carrier) Mallaley.

Alexander is survived by children; Tony (Jennifer) of Lorne, Theresa Legacy (Percy) of Lorne, Corrina (Ron) of Charlo, grandchildren; Shawn, Beulah, Derek, Francis, Jody, Bruce, Vanessa, Kristin, Nigel, Joshua and great grandchildren; Kaia, Peyton, Cole, Travis, Coen, Alexa, Nora and Mallory.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by Wife Nora (Carrier) Mallaley, grandson Francis as well as several brothers and sisters.

As a young man, he worked on the river drive and as a lumberjack later on. He married Nora in 1948 and they had 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grand children. He had many friends where he went and many stories to tell. We will keep him in our memories close to us.

The family wish to give a special thank you to the Villa Renaissance for the care they provided to Alexander while he was there.

There will be no funeral services, burial to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point.
