Alice (Shayne) Roherty Carrier
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Alice (Shayne) Roherty Carrier, who left us on July 2nd, 2025, at the age of 24, in Montreal, Quebec, at her home.
Alice was a talented web and mobile app developer with a passion for technology, music, and her beloved chihuahua, Ryuko. She was known and cherished for her dry wit, her intelligence, and the quiet strength she carried through life.
She was the child of Kristie Roherty Carrier and Micheal Carrier of Lorne, New Brunswick. Alice is survived by her brothers Kyle (Leah) of Allardville, NB and Cole of Lorne, NB. She also leaves behind her loving aunts Kendra, Chloe, and Linda; uncles Bob and Brian; and a wide circle of cousins including Kavanaugh, Kross, Charlotte, Ellie, Brady, Marcus, and Thomas.
Alice was deeply loved by her many grandparents—Karen and Keith Scott, Al Roherty, Sheldon Bertin, Louis and Nancy Carrier—and is mourned by her surviving grandparents, Dora Carrier and Lloyd LaPointe.
Her presence in this world was a gift to all who knew her, and her absence is felt profoundly by those whose lives she touched.
A funeral service for Alice will be held at MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel, Benjamin River on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 2pm. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point.
