Allan Moriarty
(October 4, 1946 - February 25, 2023)
The death of Allan Moriarty occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 25, 2023 at the age of 76.
Born in Jacquet River, he was the son of the late Walter and Melvina (Hickey) Moriarty.
Allan is survived by his sisters; Verna (Ken), Evelyn, Joyce, Monica and Sister in law Veronica. Brothers; Merlin, Victor (Glenda).
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Claude.
Allan’s love for his cats was incredible he had five cats. If one would scratch on the door he would name which cat was at the door by the scratching at the door.
Allan, was a walker who walked year around didn’t matter if it rained, snowed, or freezing cold outside people would see him walking.
A special thanks goes out to Amy’s Quality Home Care and her home care workers, a special thanks to the Extra Mural EMP Team for all the care given to Allan during his time of need, a thank you to the palliative care team at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, thank to the Bathurst Hospital and the George Dumont Hospital in Moncton.
A special thanks to Linda Furlotte Adam, his nieces and nephews for their help during his time of need.

A graveside service will be held at St Gabriels Cemetery on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 1pm. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
