Obituary
The death of Alphie Hickey of Lorne, occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on February 11, 2023 at the age of 78. Born in Lorne, Alphie was the son of the late Vincent Hickey and Mary Jane (Carrier) Hickey.
Alphie is survived by his stepchildren Dola (Gary) Mallaley, Linda Godin, Cheryl (Russell) LaPointe, and Chester (Valerie) Chamberlain. His sisters Rita Godin, Opal LaPointe, Eileen Hickey, many many many Nieces and Nephews and his beloved cat Snowball of 12 years.
Alphie was predeceased by his long life partner Mathilda (Godin) Chamberlain; his brothers Alfred, Edmond, William, Vincent, Thomas and Allie his sisters Ruby, Eva, Bernice, Bertha and Hilda.
A funeral service will be held at the MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel, Benjamin River, on Friday February 24, 2023 at 11am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
