Alphonsine (LaPointe) Hickey

 Alphonsine Hickey

    The death of Alphonsine Hickey of Riverview and formerly of Nash Creek occurred at the Lakeview Manor in Riverview on February 01, 2021 at the age of 93. Born in Lorne, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Alice (Godin) Lapointe. 

  Alphonsine is survived by her daughters; Elizabeth Weinstein of Orillia ON, Marsha Tatlock of Moncton, Margaret (Peggy) of Moncton; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold; sisters Olive, Lou, Antoinette, Leona and Gertie as well as her brothers Lorenzo and Edgar. 

  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Lakeview Manor for the excellent care given to our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nash Creek cemetery fund would be appreciated by the family.

  Her funeral service will be held at St Gabriel's church Jacquet River on September 10, 2021 at 2 pm. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
