BLAKE JENNINGS
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Blake Jennings announces his passing which occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 21st, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was the son of the late Boswell Jennings and the late Ursula Jennings, born on January 6th, 1947. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudia (Poirier), his daughter Tanya, of Dalhousie, his son Korey (Shona Newton), of Fredericton, his brothers, Colin, David and Gary, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Sterling.
Blake worked at the paper mill in Dalhousie his entire life until he took his retirement due to medical reasons. At a young age, Blake started hunting and fishing, which he learned from his uncles and enjoyed it all of his life. Through the years, he enjoyed camping when the children were young, riding his motorcycle, his ATV and going to the camp to work on renovations and for relaxation.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the care of MacMillan Funeral Home. In keeping with Blake’s wishes, there be no viewing or public funeral. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held.
