The unexpected passing of Christopher “Chris” Furlotte occurred at his residence on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the age of 55. He was the son of Winston Furlotte and Patricia (Doucet) Furlotte.

A devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hockey was a lifelong passion, and he proudly played as a goalie for many years, sharing his love of the game with teammates and friends.
Chris formed many lasting friendships with coworkers at Shaw Resources and during the years at Brunswick Smelter some who had become like family. He enjoyed spending countless evenings sharing music on his guitar with family and friends. He loved the simple things in life good company, music, laughter, and time spent with the people he cared about most. Family was everything to him, and he truly loved being surrounded by those he loved and who loved him.
He lived life in his own way and will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet resilience, and the connections he made with those around him.
A celebration of life to be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home.
