June 21, 1955 - April 10, 2026
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Clement Lavigne, of Lorne.
Born in Fredericton on June 21, 1955 to Berthold and Noella Lavigne. Clement was the beloved husband of Jessie Lavigne for 46 years. He was Father of; Adam & Jody. Clement lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and love for his family.
Clement was known for his quiet spirit and his commitment to those he cared for.
Throughout his years, Clement worked in the lead refinery at Xstrata Smelter in Belledune for 42 years. He made many friends during his years of work.
He was a devoted husband, proud father & Pere. Clement leaves to mourn, his wife Jessie, Son, Adam, Daughters, Jody & Tara. Grandchildren Faith, Reid, Isabelle, Ally, Darnell, and Jessica. His Great-Grandchildren; Harlow, Ella, and Ethan. His mother Noella, brothers, Leonard (Kathy) of Airdrie, Alberta, Tony (Darlene) of Jacquet River, Pat (Susan) of Lorne, and David (Tina) of Loggieville. His Sisters In-Law; Janice (Edward), Anne (Gerald), and Ruby (Allain) all of Lorne. He also leaves his much loved Godson, Ryan Mallaley (Erica) of Tidehead, and special friends Sylvie & Adrien Hickey and also his golf partner, Lindsay Murphy. Clement was predeceased by his Father, Berthold Lavigne, Mother & Father In-law, Sylvia & Edmond Hickey, his grandparents, Emma and John Lavigne, and Brother in-law Ralph Jr. Mallaley.
Clement loved playing hockey, walking, and golfing. But his most treasured joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
To honour Clement’s wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation of Canada.
