It is with great sadness that the family of Cora Mary Audet, 84, of Dalhousie, NB. announce her passing on June 23, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Edmund Joseph Audet.

Born in Doyleville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Hickey and the late Lena Hickey.

Cora was a hard worker throughout the years as a foster parent and a special care home owner and operator.

She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, listening to music, dancing and playing bingo.

She is survived by her children Wayne (Marylou) of Dalhousie NB, Jeanette (Mike) of Timmins ON, Kevin (Sandy) of Kirkland Lake ON, Terrence of Timmins ON, Patsy (Calvin) of Dalhousie Junction NB, Keith (Leslie) of Dalhousie NB; two sisters Agnes Pitre (Al) and Liz Wasylechko (William); her grandchildren Todd, Sabrina, Curtis, Travis, Trevor, Ashley, Steven, Johnathon, Jessica as well as her many great grandchildren.  Beside her parents she was pre deceased by her four brothers Urban (Opal), Leonard (Hazel), Delphis (Viola) and Alphie (Yolande Couture); two sisters Charlotte Gray (Timmy) and Dora Mackenzie (Herman (T-Boy) Aubie).

The family would like to thank Dr. Adrien Pelletier and the extra Mural nurses. Thank you for going beyond and above during our difficult time. 

There will be no visitation due to the pandemic,A private graveside service will be held on May 25, 2021. Donation in memory of Cora can be made to the heart and stroke foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) or a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home Black Point.
