Daniel Wilton Cochrane

After his fourth and final courageous battle with cancer, Danny Cochrane passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 09,2021 at the age of 81. Born in Dalhousie, NB, he was the son of the late Angus and Bernice (MacCurdy) Cochrane.

Danny was employed as a papermaker for 39 years at the former Abitibi-Bowater newsprint Mill in Dalhousie. He is survived by his children; Christopher (Joanne ) of Campbellton, Brynn,(Bill) Point La Nim, Patrick,(Julie) St. John’s,Nfld, Erin of Pickering,ON and Catherine (Brian) of Dalhousie. He leaves behind his long time love Phyllis Ferguson and her sons Brent and Rodney Babcock of Campbellton. He also leaves behind his beloved grand children; Keith, Victoria, Alex, Brynn Elizabeth and Andrew. He was predeceased by his wife; Elizabeth Ann MacKenzie.

The family of Danny Cochrane wish to thank the wonderful staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, particularly the staff of the Palliative Unit for their amazing dedication.

A memorial service will be held at St. John’s United Church in Dalhousie Tuesday,August 24th 2021 at 3 PM with visitation at the church from one until time of funeral at 3. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point, NB.
