It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David Arthur Murphy of Benjamin River, who peacefully passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Kingston, ON, David was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Salter) Murphy.

David leaves behind his beloved wife, Maria Rochelle Murphy and his stepchildren Fraulein, Frowelle, Florianne, and Marc Raelle. He is also survived by his children Cindy, Michael, and Julie, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In accordance with David's wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point, New Brunswick.

The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Canadian Red Cross as a tribute to David's memory
