Denis Murphy

It is with great sadness that the family of Denis Murphy of Lorne New Brunswick announce his passing on May 10th 2026 at the Campbellton regional hospital at the age of 82.

He is survived by his children Denise, Ricky, Sheila and Ashley, grandchildren Jessica and Rebecca, great grandchildren Aubree, Vynzent, Theo, and Jax. Brothers Sylvester jr, Lindsay, Lee, and Clovis, sisters Syliva, Connie, Brenda and Alva, along with many nieces and nephews, many friends, and his cat pally.

Predeceased by his parents, Sylvester Murphy and Stella Bertin (Murphy), siblings Linda, Shirley, Lonnie, and Eugina.

Denis spent years working in the woods and on roofing, he found comfort in the finer things in life like he really enjoyed fishing and hunting, homemade French fries, Kennebec and Jims potatoes, old western music and shows and plaid button up shirts. He often said things like “you better believe it”, “the whole kit and kaboodle”, and “haulin your brogues.”

The family would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to Louise for helping him over the last few years.

As per his last wishes there will be no funeral services.
