Edward Degrechie
Obituary
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Edward Degrechie of Jacquet River, which occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on March 21, 2023 at the age of 92. He was the son of the late Edward and late Margaret (Blais) Degrechie.
He is survived by his daughter Sadie (Mike), son Freddie (Marylin); grandsons Mitchell Babin and Edward Carrier.
Edward leaves to mourn Debbie Carrier, Bernice Arnold (George), Tommy Landry (Janice), Betty Harvey (Lloyd), Leo Landry (Shirley), Maureen Dennis (Ron) and many many friends and loved ones.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Edward; his partner Genevive Landry; sisters Theresa and Josephine.
Ed was a member of the Legion Durham Branch 177 in Jacquet River for many years. He was a well loved member of the community. He lived a long and fulfilling life.
A graveside service is to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point
