Eileen Margaret O’Neil 

1933 - 2021

Eileen O’ Neil passed away peacefully after a brief hospital stay because of heart problems,

Born in Barnaby River, NB she was eldest child of Ambrose and Regina (MacDonald) Grennan.

Eileen attended NB Teachers College in Fredericton, NB ( class of 1951) and enjoyed a lifelong career of teaching children from Mont Apica Airbase to Charlo to Bathurst, finally settling in Belledune. 

She enjoyed her retirement, Jeopardy, crosswords and her cats 

Eileen is predeceased by her parents, her husband Charlie and brothers Kenneth (Janice) and Frank (Geraldine). She was also predeceased by nephews Patrick (Jimmy) and David ( Kenneth).

She is survived by siblings Donnie ( Rolande) of Gaspé, James (Joan) of Nackawic, Margaret of Belledune, and Mary Jean (David) of Bathurst, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her world - her cats Barney and Gertie , as well as her daughter Ellen. (Jamie) 

The world lost a ray of sunshine.

Donations in memory of Eileen can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the SPCA 

A private family funeral service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Belledune. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point.
