Ethel Agnes (Furlong) McGregor

Ethel Agnes McGregor (Furlong), aged 103, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025 at Southern Comfort Villa in Bathurst. Born on February 20, 1922, in Jacquet River, she lived a life that spanned over a century, witnessing and contributing to a world of change and growth.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Theresa Dempsey (Robert), her son, Robert McGregor (Jeanne), her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth McGregor, her grandchildren, Shawn Dempsey, Jason Dempsey, Lisa McGregor, Melissa McGregor, Tammy McMinniman, Lance McGregor and Heather MacDougall, her great-grandchildren, Cody McGregor, Cruz McMinniman, Jagg McMinniman, Ryan Dempsey, Matthew Dempsey, Kaitlyn Dempsey, Alexis Dempsey, Paige Dempsey, Aria Dempsey, Liam Caven and Meredith MacDougall, and her great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her eight siblings, her husband, Alfred McGregor, her son, Alfred McGregor, Jr., and her granddaughter, Kimberly Caven.

In lieu of funeral services/visitation, there will be a graveside service on May 21, 2025 at 1:00p.m. in Jacquet River. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point.
