Obituary

It is with broken hearts we announce the death of Floyd Legacy of Belledune at age 64.

Floyd died peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and children whom he cherished. He was the son of late Delphis and Joyce Legacy.

Floyd is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Tara Legacy and their children Joshua Legacy (Vanessa DeGrace) and Alyx Legacy (Timothy Lapointe); his brothers Calvin, Donnie (Jean), Jimmy, Lloyd, Randy, Roger (Wendy), George (Nelda) and sisters Isabel, Margaret (Michael), Joanne, Peggy (Guy), Jenette, Yvette (Jacques) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Ronnie, Wayne, and sister Theresa.

Floyd was a skilled, self taught carpenter and handyman who built a house for his family. Floyd was a fixer of problems from mechanical, to family issues. He was always there for anyone who needed him. He was someone you could rely on. He had strong values that he carried with him throughout his life that he utilized by showing compassion and love to others, especially his family. Floyd’s family was his greatest treasure. Floyd was an honorable man who will be remembered for his smiles, good humour, kindness, and laughter by anyone who knew him.

Following Floyd’s wishes, his family will do a private internment at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point.
