Francis Synette

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francis Synette of Dalhousie, who departed this life on February 6, 2026, at the Villa Renaissance in Dalhousie at the age of 82. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Joe Synette and the late Lisa Cook.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Kathy of 53 years; his children, Mike and Nicholas (Nancy); his grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle, Nicolas, and Justin; and his great-grandchildren, Alexiis, Xavier, and Zander. He is also survived by his siblings: Leo, Mary (Dixie), Therese, Colette, Margaret Rose, Cecile, Jacky and Ivan.

In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his siblings, Gerard, Ronald, Myrtle, and Muriel.

A celebration of Frank's life will be held at the NBIP Employees Association Inc. (361 William Street, Dalhousie, NB E8C 2H6 (https://www.google.com/maps/search/361+William+Street,+Dalhousie,+NB+E8C+2H6?entry=gmail&source=g)) on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home in Black Point.

Frank will be fondly remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
