Garry Audfroid Obituary

Garry Ronald Audfroid
March 5, 1949 – September 13, 2021
Passed away peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 13 at the age of 72.
Devoted husband to Ruby (Flann) Audfroid, loving father to Ashley Bernatchez (Evan) and “Gaga” to
Nora and Abel Bernatchez. Will be missed by mother Kathleen (Valdron) Audfroid, great aunt Ruby
(Audfroid) Fournier, sister Ruth (Audfroid) Mathews (Doug Mathews, Tyler Mathews, Alicia, Wes,
Rhea & Grace Kent) and Randy Audfroid (Wayne Carr). He was pre-deceased by father Ronald “Tuddy”
Audfroid and brother Keith Audfroid.
Garry worked for 40 years in the Department of Natural Resources and was an avid fly-tyer and
fisherman. He was loved and respected by all who met him and had very loyal friends right until his last
days (Truman Chiasson & Danny Farrar) who visited faithfully.
A heart felt thank you goes out to the Palliative Care and Oncology Units of the Campbellton Regional
Hospital, Extra-Mural, Familiprix Pharmacy, Dr. Jean-Claude Quintal and Dr. Nadia Caron who were all a
great support to him and his entire family during his battle.
