Glen Dempsey

The death of Glen Dempsey of Mitchell occurred on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 56. Born in Murdochville, he was the son of Joseph (deceased) and Henrietta Dempsey.

Glen is survived by his wife Pam, son Ryan, brother Danny (Martha), sister Lisa (Rodney), niece Amanda, nephews Adam and Derek, stepfather Allison Lapointe, several aunts and uncles, stepchildren Steve and Jessie, step grandson Noah, as well as his step-siblings Dale (Theresa), Debbie, Roxanne (Dennis), David (Nadine) and Daryl. He was predeceased by his father and grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made towards Glen’s son’s university education (speak to Lisa for details), or that donations be made to the Tree of Hope in Glen’s memory.

A graveside funeral service for Mr. Dempsey will be held in Summer, 2019, with details to be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
