Gloria Jean LaPointe

The death of Gloria Jean LaPointe of Jacquet River, wife of Kenny, occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on March 3rd, 2022 at the age of 59. Born in Dalhousie, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Gloria (Harquail) Hachey.  

Gloria is survived by her husband Kenny; children Drew (Jenna), and Devin; 1 grand child Winston; her siblings Bernadette, Shirley, Ed, Joey (Kari), Bob (Joan), and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was pre deceased by her brother Albert, brothers in-law Jeff & Walt, and nephew Jonathan.

She will be sorely missed whereas she and her kitchen were the focal point of family gatherings. A mother to all, her bubbly personality and loving ways had a positive impact on those around her.

A graveside service at St Gabriel’s Parish cemetery in Jacquet River will be held on Monday June 06 at 11 am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
