The death of Gordon Pitre of the Villa Renaissance Dalhousie occurred at the Villa Renaissance on December 23, 2019 at the age of 81. Born in Belledune, he was the son of the late Charles and Pearl (Daigle) Pitre.

Gordon is survived by his wife Jeannette Pitre; daughters Collette Pitre (John Steeves) of Campbellton. Nancy Commerford (Rob) of Bathurst; 4 grand children; Amy, Samantha, Martin, Kayla; 4 great grandchildren Lea, Kayleigh, Eathan, Elsa as well as his brother Norman (Sandra). He was pre deceased by his siblings Manuel, Genevieve Daigle, Bernadine Legacy, Kathleen Lapointe and Ralph.

His funeral will be held at the St Gabriel’s Church in Jaquet River on January 03, 2020 at 2 pm with visitation at MacMillan's Funeral Home Thursday January 2 from 6-8. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home Black Point.
