Gordon "Gordie" James Richardson

Gordon “Gordie” James Richardson, 72, of Charlo, New Brunswick passed away on Monday, September 04, 2023 peacefully surrounded by his immediate family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. 

He married Joyce, the love of his life, in 1979 who survives him.  Gordie is also survived by his sister Heather (Ron) and his children Shaye, Kari (Kevin), Tricia (John), Nathan, and Jennifer (Stephane).  As well, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gordie was predeceased by parents James and Margaret Richardson. 

Anyone who knew Gordie witnessed his many stories, huge heart, infamous dance moves, and workmanship. Gordie loved the great outdoors whether he was fishing or hunting, and could often be found on the beach, sitting in his green chair, watching his fishing line waiting for that bite.Gordie was meticulous about his property, and everything always looked like a million dollars. He loved his family beyond words, and spent many many years making unforgettable memories. 

A graveside service will be held at the New Mills Cemetery on July 5th, 2024 at 2pm. If you wish to donate, donations can be made in honour of Gordie to the Cancer society. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home.
