Sterling Ian Hamilton

The death of Ian Hamilton of Charlo occurred August 14, 2019 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 88. Born in Blacklands, he was the son of the late Ion and Grace (Alexander) Hamilton.

Ian is survived by his wife Judy (LaPointe); son Kevin (Joan) of Charlo, stepdaughter Jody Smearer (Dwayne) of Black Point, Stepson Rick Daigle (Diane) of Edmonton; step grandchildren Jerica and Jacob as well as his siblings Muriel Blake, Annie Black, Isabel DeRoche and Faye Warr. He was predeceased by his son Sterling and brother John.

His funeral will be held from Bethel United Church, Nash Creek Monday, August 19, 2019 at 2 PM.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
