Irma Marie Ferlotte

It is with sadness that the family of Irma Marie Ferlotte (Furlong) announces her passing which occurred peacefully on Wednesday October 8, 2025 at the George Dumont Hospital in Moncton NB. Born in LaPoint Settlement Nash Creek on September 6, 1935 she was the daughter of the Late Alexander and Marguerite (La Pointe) Furlong.

Irma is survived by her son Larry (Michelle) Ferlotte of Fredericton NB grandchildren  Christopher, Matthew and Olivia. Sister In-law Therese Furlong of Hampton NB, special niece Phyllis (Peter) Allain of Moncton, as well as several more nieces and nephew, special cousin Betty (La Point) McConie of Halifax NS, as well as several more cousins.

In addition to her parents Irma is predeceased by her son Donnie Ferlotte, brothers James (Ruby) Furlong, Clarence (Phylis) Furlong and Lawrence Furlong; and sisters Irene (Willard) Fitzsimmons and Margaret (Gerald) Ross.

The family would like to extend a sincere than you to the staff at the George Dumont Palliative Care unit.

 A graveside service will be held at the St Josephs Cemetery, Nash Creek on October 16, 2025 at 2pm, with a visitation to be held beforehand from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to Macmillan & Drapeau Funeral Home in Black Point NB.
