Ivan Godin

Ivan passed away unexpectedly at the Bathurst hospital on September 10th, at age 73. He was with his loving wife of 51 years, Sandra.

Ivan was an amazing person. He was liked by everyone who had the privilege to know him. 
He loved music, darts, being outdoors and gardening. 
He could spend all day in the woods picking hazelnuts. Or an entire afternoon in a field picking strawberries or blueberries.  
A morning at the beach during low tide digging clams. 
But there was nothing he loved more than his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved spending time with them whenever he had the chance. We were blessed to have been able to call him husband, dad, and poppa/grampy

He worked 36 years at the Brunswick Smelter. He was heavily involved with the Union. He was president of the Legion. He gave back to his family, friends and community in so many ways. 

He will be forever missed by his friends but none will miss him more than his family. His wife, Sandra. His children, Tony, Jody, and Jamie( niece but like another daughter) and his grandchildren Dustin, Grace, Sam and Mia 

He is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Ella. His siblings George, Levio, Rita, Leona, Jean and Anne

He is survived by his wife Sandra. Children Tony, Jody (Harvie), Jamie(Casper) and grandchildren Dustin, Grace, Sam and Mia
His siblings Kenneth(Shirley), Suzanne, Ines(Eric), and Preston(Suzanne)

There will be no memorial or funeral service at this time
