J.A. (Jim) Godin 

Jan. 30, 1942 – Jan. 19, 2025

It is with great sadness we announce the death of James A. Godin (Jim) at age 82.  He was born in Mitchell Settlement and later lived in Jacquet River where he graduated from High School.  Jim then moved to Montreal for a short time but lived the majority of his life in Toronto.  Jim passed away at Toronto hospital with his very close and dear friend Lenny (more like a son) by his side.  Jim was predeceased by his mom; Edna and two younger brothers Robert & Gussy.  He is survived by his loving and beloved sisters, Susan Hickey & Brenda Cormier (Raymond), niece Tracy and nephew Darrell and his Toronto nonbiological, but dearly loved family, Lenny, JoAnn, Tom and Gord as well as his children and grandchildren, Danny, Kim, Sydney & Ashley.

 A service for J.A. (Jim) Godin. It will be held at St. Gabriel Church, Jacquet River on Monday, October 6, 2025 @ 2:00 p.m
