1933 – 2020

It is with profound sadness our family announces the passing of Murray Alexander (Bud) Cline of Miramichi, NB, husband of Patricia (Auger) Cline, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on April 7, 2020 at the age of 87. Born in Benjamin River, NB, he was the son of the late Murray and Stella (Murchie) Cline.

Murray was Woodlands Division trucking supervisor and captain of the NBIP tug boats, the Chelsea and then the Hamilton Bailey in Dalhousie, N.B.
He loved to be on the water for work and pleasure. His love of music was a pastime he shared with his family and enjoyed playing with his friends. 
Above all else, he was devoted to his family.

Murray is survived by his wife, Patricia; one daughter: Michelle Cadogan (David) of Miramichi, NB; two sons: Bradley Cline (Lynn) of Ottawa, ON and Chris Cline (Liza) of Dalhousie, NB; one sister: Daisy Walker of Seaside, NB; three grandchildren: Tyson, Nathan, Aaran; four great grandchildren: Annie, Aiden, Lucas and Émélia.

Besides his parents, Murray is predeceased by one sister: Geraldine Pettigrew.

At Murray’s request there will be a graveside service at Our Lady of Visitation Cemetery, Benjamin River, NB at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy in Murray’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of the donors’ choice. Messages of condolence can be sent through the funeral home website www.bellsmeadows.com

A graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Visitation Cemetery, Benjamin River, on June 17, 2022 at 11 am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point.
