James Babin

It is with great sadness the family of James Babin announce his passing at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst NB on October 2, 2023 at the age of 88. Born in Charlo, he was the son of the late Alexander and the late Georgina (Lapointe) Babin. 

James is survived by his wife Bernadette Babin of Jacquet River, NB; children Jamie of Hamilton On, Phyllis of Hamilton On, William of Aurora On; grandchildren James ( Krysta), Alexander, Kevin and Adam; great grandchildren Quinn, Kaden, Kylie, Travis, Demetrius and Celeste; siblings Bernadette, Sybil and Winston as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents James was predeceased by his brothers Simon, Lionel, Gerald, Douglas, Romeo, Clement, and sisters Florida, Arnolda, Donalda and Eileen

  A funeral service will be held at the St Gabriels Church, Jacquet River on November 07, 2023 at 11am. We ask that Legion members meet at the church by 10:45am for a legion service. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point.
