Jeanetta (Loubert) Doucet, Hickey

The death of Jeanetta Hickey of Lorne, occurred on October 10, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 91. Born in Jacquet River, she was the daughter of the late William and Mabel (Dempsey) Loubert.

 Jeanetta is survived by her daughter Wilma Doucet Rouse (Rick) of Peterborough, ON.; daughter in law Ann Doucet of Nackawic; stepson Omer Hickey (Gail) of Belledune; grandchildren Amanda Brothers (Warren) of Saint John; great-grandchildren Warren Jr., Gabrielle, Daniel as well as her brother Merle (Monica) and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Hector Doucet; second husband William Hickey; daughter Marlene (Larry Hickey); son Gary; sister Velma and brother Vernon.

 Her funeral will be held at the MacMillan Drapeau Funeral Chapel in Benjamin (24167 Rte 134) Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 2 PM with visitation at the chapel Wednesday from 6-8 and Thursday from 1 until time of funeral at two. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
