Jeannette Yvette (Ancharuk) Traer

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Jean, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Jean passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital April 19, 2023 surrounded by her family.  Born August 21, 1929 in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of Michael and Zelda Ancharuk.

She is predeceased by her husband Guy Traer, sisters Mary, Irene, Margaret, Lorraine and Anita, brothers Joseph and Max.

She is survived by her sisters Liz and Doreen and brother Johnny, as well as her six children, Ralph (Valerie), Ed (Pam), Terry (Martine), Susan (Bob), Diane (Dorothy) (Ryan), Kathy (Yvon) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jean loved to play bingo with her friends and was an excellent knitter. She volunteered at the East Wind Boutique where she sold many of her knitted goods.

A private family graveside service will be held in July. Arrangements in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
