Obituary

The death of John Barbour of Dalhousie occurred at his residence on June 28, 2023 at the age of 77. Born in Campbellton, the son of the late Richard and the late Mary Bernetta (Harris) Barbour. 

 John is survived by his wife Theresa; children Dale (Cherise) of St. John and Troy (Susan) of Barrie, ON; 5 grand children Brianna, Ethan, Gavin, Chris and Andrew; brothers Brian and Bernard as well as his sister Cameron Taylor. 

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his brothers Patrick, Richard and his sister Catherine. 

John Barbour was know by many for his kind, talkative and outgoing personality.  He loved to spend his time flying his simulator ,playing with his electronics/gadgets and riding his ATV . He also loved to meet his friends for coffee to talk about life. He was an all around amazing person who lived his life to the fullest. He valued family and always made time for them. He will be missed by many.

 A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the St. Jean Baptiste cemetery on Wednesday July 5th, 2023 at 11am. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point.
