Obituary
The death of John Legacy of Mitchell, husband of the late Brenda (Seeley), occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on June 21, 2023 at the age of 76. Born in Mitchell, he was the son of the late James and Mary Ellen (Guitard) Legacy.
John is survived by his siblings Mary and Jimmy (Veronica); 2 grand daughters Kelsea and Shelby and 2 great grand children River and Christopher.
Besides his parents and his wife Brenda, John was predeceased by his son Jeff and his brothers Frankie, Leslie, Edgar, Clarence and George.
John was called “Pa” by many. He was an outdoorsman all his life and loved fishing and hunting. His motto was “Shit Happens”.. he was a man of few word but loved by many.
A celebration of life for John will be held at he MacMillan’s & Drapeau Chapel, Benjamin River, on Wednesday June 28th, 2023 at 11am. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point
