Joyce Gilks Obituary

The death of Joyce Gilks occurred at her residence on September 17th, 2025 at the age of 85. Born in New Castle, NB she was the daughter of the late John Allison Whitney and Theresa Elizabeth (McLean) Whitney

Joyce is survived by; two daughters Ferne Hamilton, Wendy (John) McPeake, two sons; Ralph Jr. Gilks and Stacy Gilks, two brothers James (Audrey) Whitney, Charles Whitney. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides her parents John and Theresa, she was pre deceased by; son Arthur John Gilks, brothers; John Reid Whitney, Burnley Whitney and sister Mary Theresa Russell.

Arrangements are in the care on MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point.
