Laura-Lee “Lee” Blais
January 14, 1971 – October 10, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Laura-Lee “Lee” Blais, who left us on October 10, 2025, at the age of 54. Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, Lee cherished her roots in Nash Creek, where she was surrounded by loved ones and treasured places.
Lee’s life touched many. She is survived by her beloved son, Riley (Pier-Luc); her father, Lawrence (Sally); her brother, Chris; and her aunt, Sandra (Mark), who was a constant presence in Lee’s life, always supporting her and standing by her side. She is also survived by her dear nieces, Amelia and Jaya, and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Betty, whom she dearly loved, in 2019.
Lee was a radiant presence, infusing joy into every gathering. Music and dance were her passions, inherited from her mother, and her warmth could illuminate any space. With her striking beauty and captivating spirit, family often affectionately noted that she was “born with a wig on.”
Lee faced many challenges in life. However, she continued to move forward and tried her best to get better and find peace. Her legacy is one of laughter, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Riley, her cherished son, will carry her memory forward with heartfelt gratitude and pride.
Lee’s indomitable spirit and love will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. May she find serene peace, reunited with her beloved mother, Betty.
A graveside service will be held at the St Gabriel's cemetery, Jacquet River, on Thursday October 23, 2025 at 11am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point.
