Louis Carrier 

Louis Carrier, 70, of Lorne, NB, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Villa Renaissance in Dalhousie, NB after an ongoing decline in health following a stroke in 2021.

Louis was born on October 11, 1953 to Louis and Mona Carrier of Lorne, NB. He was the oldest of 3 boys and was the go to for the families needs; be it a place to live or a drive to appointments or wherever they needed to go. He would give the shoes off of his feet for those he cared for and was seen doing just that for his brother. 

At an age much younger than what would be acceptable by today's standards, Louis made his way to Ontario where he worked and eventually met the love of his life, Nancy Rawn. The two married in 1973 and went on to have three children together. Micheal, Linda, and Brian. The family moved back to his home town of Lorne in 1984 and he remained in Lorne until he took a stroke in 2021.

Louis enjoyed being around people and was known for his great sense of humor. He loved a good laugh and could pull off an exceptional Santa Clause impersonation come Christmas time. Children always put a smile on his face and could allow him to pick and torment which he also loved to do.

Louis was predeceased by his wife Nancy, brothers Johnny and Lionel, and parents Louis and Mona. He is survived by his children Micheal (Kristie) of Lorne, NB; Linda (John) of Eel River Bar, NB; and Brian of Jacquet River as well as his grandchildren Thomas, Brady, Marcus, Kyle, Alice and Cole.

As per Louis’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
