Paul Goulette Obituary

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Paul Goulette while working away on February 27, 2026 at the age of 52. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of Leandre Goulette and Raymonde Cormier Gaudet.

He will be sadly missed by his spouse Angela, Children;Terri-Lyn and Patrick, Stepchildren; Josie (Remi), Andrew, Will and Jesse Grandchildren ;Taylor and Gracie Sister; Cindy (Earl) Nephew ; Austin.

Paul graduated in 1998 in Heavy Equipment Service Technician from the New Brunswick Community College with honours. Known for his dedication to the mining industry, Paul worked for over 2 decades serving as an underground mechanic at various mines. He was a FIFO mining professional, travelling to remote projects across Canada. While his career required extensive travel, Paul lived for his off-time filling every moment with his family.

Leading by example, Paul had a work ethic second to none, which he instilled into all of our children, never missing an opportunity to teach skills in the garage, safety always coming first. Those lessons will never be forgotten.

A devoted NASCAR fan, Paul never missed a Sunday race cheering on his favorite drivers. With a passion for racing that matched his energy for life, Paul is likely already scouting out the best seat in the house or taking in a lap alongside Dale Earnhardt at the ultimate racetrack in the sky.

Paul was a lifelong enthusiast of heavy metal music, finding joy in loud guitars, complex and pounding drumbeats and memorable concerts.

Known for having a heart as loud as the engines at Daytona, and a passion as intense as a metal concert, Paul lived authentically and loved deeply.

Paul was filled with a love for life and a love for his friends who he considered his brothers.

His most treasured times were spent at his camp, enjoying the outdoors and time with his partner and sidekick Angela, his dogs Koda, Ellie, Maverick and Mahikan.

Forever loved, Forever missed.

"Wake up, remember. We are born of one breath, one word."

"We are all one spark, sun becoming"
