Peter LaPointe

   The death of Peter LaPointe of Lorne occurred Sunday, July 07, 2019 at his residence at the age of 93. Born in Lorne, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eva (Hickey) LaPointe.

   Peter is survived by his children Roland (Rosita), Pierrette (Charles), Rolande (James), Ovila (Emilie), Blanche (Reginald), Patrick, Marcel, Noella (Gilbert), Hermel, Colette (Guy), Nicole (Claude); daughter in law Alfreda; 34 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren 12 great great grandchildren as well as his siblings Clarence, Celestin and Adelaine. He was predeceased by his wife Albina; sons Alvin, Camille, Rheal and Etienne; daughters in law Theresa and Linda and siblings Eleonore, Evangeline, Blanche, Arthur, Zoel, Angus and Emelie.

   His funeral will be held from St. Maria Goretti Church, Lorne Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11 am with visitation at the Lorne Funeral Parlour Thursday from 7-9 and Friday from 10 until time of funeral at 11. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s funeral Home, Black Point.
