Richard (Ricky) LaPointe

The death of Ricky LaPointe occurred at his Residence, on January 27, 2025 at the age of 63. Born in Lorne, He was the son of the late Hubert and Barbara (O’Brien) LaPointe.

Ricky is survived by siblings; Glenn LaPointe, Carmen LaPointe, and Bruce LaPointe as well as nieces and nephews; Kirsten, Yvonne, Selena, Brandon, Brittany, and Christopher.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother’s Colin LaPointe and Kevin LaPointe

In Ricky’s younger years he spent his time working in the woods. A kind hearted, strong individual, and lover of animals

He enjoyed the simpler things in life like listening to music and playing cribbage, as well as his visits from friends and family.

A burial will be held at St Maria Goretti Cemetery, Lorne on August 12, 2025 at 11am. per Ricky’s wishes. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point.
