Robert Mallet

July 3, 1953-July 6, 2022

Passed away at his residence surrounded by angels and his loving family, Robert Mallet left this Earth to continue his journey into the next world.  He was 69 at the time of his passing.

Robert is survived by his loving high school sweet heart of 53 years Ginette (Parisé), his two daughters Marie-Claude (Israel Savoie), Marie-Josée, his 3 precious grand-daughters, Léa-Rose, Thalia-Jade and Raven-Amber. His brothers and sisters, Aline (Luc Jacques), Lucille (Rheal Fournier), Yvon (Rachel Savoie), Yvette (Burt Allard), Jean (Colette Pelletier), Jeannette(Harold Clarke), Marie-Claire (Charles Boissonnault); and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents John Mallet, Marielle Valotaire and his brother Marcel (Karen Gallie)

Robert was a mill lab technician from the age of 19 years old to his retirement at 56 years old.  In his younger days, Robert was part of the Dalhousie mill fire department and a member of the Ambulance Saint-Jean which he received the “Honor of the Venerable Order of Saint-John of Jerusalem” on January 11, 1980.  Robert was also a past member of the Dalhousie Nights of Columbus and the Dalhousie Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17.

Robert had a passion for life and music.  Being raised in a musical family, he loved to play guitar and sing with his good buddies during hunting season and family gatherings. He had also returned to work as a security officer at Vitalité in 2020 after being retired for 14 years. 

 Robert a positivement touché la vie de plusieurs personnes.  La chose la plus précieuse a ses yeux était la famille, l’amitié et l’amour pour sa femme, ses 2 filles, ses 3 petites filles et son genre Israel. Robert était le Grand-Dada le plus fièr au monde lorsqu’il a apprit la nouvelle que sa fille Marie-Josée attendais de triplets.  Ses trois petites filles étaient sa raison de vivre!!  Il avait aussi une place spécial pour ses neveux Alain, Rémi, Régis, Eric,  Luc  et sourtout son genre Israel pendant la chasse et la pêche.    Il avait un très grand coeur et il était toujours prêt a aider qui que ce soit sans jugement.  Son sens d humour, sa personalité joviale, son enthusiasm et sourtout son beau sourire, laissait toujours une empreinte partout ou il allait.  

Robert, tu vas nous manquer mais tu ne seras jamais oublier.  Robert will be deeply missed by many but never forgotten.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Robert that will be held at the Dalhousie N.B.I.P. Club on July 16, 2022 from 2h00 pm to 5h00 pm.  Musicians, bring your instruments, Robert would have loved a “GOOD JAM”  La Célébration de Vie pour Robert sera au Club N.B.I.P de Dalhousie le 16 juillet de 2h00 pm a 5h00 pm.  Les musiciens n’oublié pas vos instruments.  Robert aurait aime un “BON JAM”
