Roberta LaPointe

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Roberta LaPointe (Bertha)the morning of May 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Born in Dalhousie NB, Roberta met her love Theodore, where they moved to new Mills and built a simple life near the beach. There, she had her family and lived happily for many years.

After the passing of Ted, she moved closer to her sisters/brothers in Dalhousie where she spent the remainder of her years playing Bingo, gardening, and taking care of her little home. Her happiest time was when her home was full of laughter from all her family, especially her 3 children.

Survived by her daughter Vivian (Darris), sons Darryl (Crystal) and Neil, as well as her sisters Beatrice LaPointe, Bernadette Bernatchez, Karen Laxton, Vivian Thompson (Eric) and brothers Buddy Harquail (Bonnie), and Danny Harquail (Darla).  

Predeceased by her husband Theodore (Ted), parents Clara (Joncas) and Napoleon Harquail, sisters Theresa Perry, Hazel Moore, Dorothy (Dot) Hamilton, and brothers Ally and Earl.

A funeral service will be held at MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel, Benjamin River on May 23, 2025 at 2pm. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point.
