Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of Rose Lapointe, wife of the late Gordon Lapointe, announces her passing at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Thursday May 11, 2023 at the age of 93. Born September 10, 1929 the daughter of the late Edmond and Regina (Bertin) Gallen.
Rose is survived by her children Margaret (John) Doucet, Donny (Donna) Lapointe, Cynthia (Randy) Godin, Joanie (Randy) Lapointe, Terry (Dale) Lapointe and Sharon (Gilles) Godin; sister Coreen (Roger) Guitard as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband Gordon she was predeceased by her her sons Herman, Eugene and Glen; daughter Marion; grandson Todd; brothers Lionel, Earnest, Norman, Raymond, Everett, Emile and Leonard; sisters Lena and Betty.
Rose was happiest when surrounded by her family. She had a great sense of humour, enjoyed a good laugh, playing bingo and scratching tickets. She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1pm. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
