Ruby Thompson 

The death of Ruby Thompson of Charlo occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on May 31, 2021 at the age of 94. Born in Black Point, she was the daughter of the late Levy Paul Lapointe and the late Laurette Albert. 

 Ruby is survived by her children Myra Joncas (Aurel) of Charlo; Wayne Thompson (Diane) of Tracadie; sisters Ada Morris and Matilda Mercier; grandchildren Micheal Thompson, Steven Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Cindy Joncas as well as her great grandchild Kayla Joncas and great great grandchild Grace Moore. 

  Ruby was predeceased by her husband Tim Joseph Delphis Thompson; son Gary Thompson; grandchild Brian Thompson as well as her siblings Clifford Lapointe, Raymond Lapointe, Emma Thompson, Ernest Lapointe, Paul Lapointe, Leonard Lapointe and Walter Lapointe. 

  Funeral services will be held at the St Francois Xavier Church, Charlo on Tuesday June 8, 2021 at 11 am with visitation Monday evening from 7-9 at the MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel 24174 Route 134 Benjamin River (former Benjamin Church). Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
