The death of Sheila Hickey of Belledune occurred at Chaleur Regional Hospital on December 5, 2021 at the age of 72. Born in Doylville, She was the daughter of the late Urban Hickey and Opal Hickey (MacMillan).
She is survived by her children Dony (Mario) LaPointe of Belledune, Danny Carrier of Belledune, Daisy (Francois) Dugas of Belledune, Shawnna (Bob) Elwood of Toronto; grandchildren Emily Lapointe, Samantha Hickey, Nathan Caine, Josh Carrier, Tony Jessie Carrier, Dakota Carrier, Arianne Dugas and Aaron Dugas as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is also predeceased by her husband Arnold Carrier; stepson A.J. and Hank.
A visitation will be held at the MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel, Benjamin River on December 9, 2021 from 2:00pm- 4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
